A Refreshing Summer Treat: Blueberry Popsicle Recipe

As the summer heat rises, it’s important to stay hydrated and refreshed. Here is a simple but delicious popsicle recipe that you can use to beat the heat and keep cool. This blueberry popsicle recipe uses natural ingredients like sugar, water, blueberries, and cream. It is an easy-to-make recipe that requires minimal effort and yields delicious results.

To make these tasty treats, you will need 8 freezer pop molds (or 8 paper cups plus wooden sticks), 2/3 cup sugar, 2/3 cup of water, 2 cups of fresh or frozen blueberries (thawed), and 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream. Begin by making a sugar syrup by combining the sugar and water in a small saucepan over medium heat. Bring the mixture to a boil while stirring constantly until all of the sugar has dissolved. Remove from heat and allow to cool completely.

Next, in a separate bowl mash up your blueberries with a fork until they are coarsely mashed. Stir in the cream and cooled sugar syrup until thoroughly mixed together. Carefully spoon this mixture into your molds or paper cups. For those using molds top them with holders before freezing for 4 hours or until firm. For those using paper cups cover with foil before inserting sticks through the foil into each cup for easy handling when eating them later on.

These homemade blueberry popsicles are not only delicious but also require very few ingredients that most households already have on hand such as sugar, water, blueberries, and cream. They are also incredibly easy to make requiring just minutes of prep time before putting them in the freezer for four hours or until firm! Enjoy these refreshing treats this summer season with family and friends!
