Eye Care Insurance Providers We Accept
You will be pleased to know that Lentz Eye Care & Associates accept most vision insurance plans. We would be happy to obtain insurance eligibility from your vision insurance provider before your next appointment. If you would like us to do this simply call and let us know. This will allow us to tell you what your co-pay will be, or let you know of any material benefits that you can use.
Our list of accepted vision insurance providers includes the following companies:
- Blue Cross Blue Shield
- United Healthcare
- Vision Care Direct
Since vision insurance plans differ, we encourage you to review the particular coverage that your plan offers, even if you see your vision insurer on our list of accepted providers. You may do so by calling the number on your vision insurance card.
Other Ways to Pay for Eyecare
Lentz Eye Care & Associates accepts cash, checks and credit card payments from Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express.
Many of our patients have some type of health savings accounts or HSA, where pre-tax employment funds can be directed to a dedicated savings account for health spending. Depending on the vision services you are receiving, you may be able to use your health savings account to pay for some of the vision care services you receive. This is a great way to reduce your out-of-pocket medical expenses.
A flexible spending arrangement or FSA is another useful tool that allows you to pay for health care visits, co-pays, medical devices or supplies, medicated eye drops, and other health needs. If you have a flexible spending arrangement, you can use that account to pay for products purchased from our optometry clinic or cover your co-pay. If you have any questions about paying for your visit with an FSA, we would be happy to answer them prior to your visit.
Additionally, Lentz Eye Care & Associates now accepts CareCredit. CareCredit is a healthcare credit card designed for health and wellness needs for you and your entire family. It helps you pay for out-of-pocket expenses not covered by insurance by extending special financing options that you can’t get when using regular credit cards. If interested simply call one of our offices and we can explain the application process and financing options or simply inquire about Care Credit at your next visit.
